Travelling to the Roche Diabetes Care summit

Just a quick post while I'm waiting to board a plane.

The event has been organized by Roche, makers of the Accu-Chek line of products. Among other things we'll be talking about is How can bloggers and community leaders best represent and help other patients?

I will be there along with some of my favorite diabetes bloggers including: Scott Johnson; Scott Strumello; Chris Bishop; Bennet Dunlap; Kerri Morrone Sparling; Kelly Kunik; Manny Hernandez; Kelly Close; Amy Tenderich and others.

So you know what we'll spend a lot of our time talking about.

But I'd love your input, how do you think diabetes blogger could better represent you and reach out to help the millions of others with diabetes?

More about this summit over the next few days.

Hi Bernard - Hope all is well with you. Quick heads up that your Kelly Close link is throwing a "server not found" error. Looks like the link you provided is www.diatribe.com - seems like Kelly's main link is www.diatribe.us. Hope you have a great time at the Roche event!

Prior to the DOC-- I learned a lot about diabetes via the internet and my endo.

I stumbled across Amy T, Kerri and TuDiabetes searching for information about the Omnipod. I didn't know the DOC exsisted. It was GREAT to know I wasn't alone. I learn something new every day from the DOC. Blogger's and community leaders do an excellent job keeping the DOC informed on the latest and greatest diabetes news. Blogger's do a GREAT job blogging about their life and the D. I love the honesty! I love I can relate to someone who goes through what I go through.
I wouldn't change anything. Keep advocating and blogging.

Bloggers and Community Leaders play a huge role in our care! They are Patient's first. IF you stop thinking like a patient, you'll loose your audience and no one will hear our voice.

Be Blessed
Cherise

I am sorry if I was all over the place with this but I am not a structed writer...lol Plus, it's late.
