Our camping trip

We had a wonderful three days in Otter River State Forest. Glorious weather and great accommodations.

Staying in a yurt

If you'd like to see what it was like, have a look at my tabblo. I've got some pictures of the yurt and the area around about.

If you haven't ever tried camping, then yurting is a wonderful easy way into it!

Great pictures. Looked like a great time. Yurting is definitely a new one for my vocabulary.

Bernard, the pictures were wonderful. Makes me want to round up a group and take off to northern Minnesota.

I'm glad you enjoyed the trip! Otter River Campground is just one of my favorite places in the world! :) We've never been over to Tully Lake, but I'll have to keep the canoeing in mind for next time!!

Mel

I found Tully Lake because of your suggestion about Doane's Falls. Doane's Falls drops into Tully Lake and if you follow the trail from Doane's you end up at the Tully Lake campground.

It's a beautiful area. Many, many thanks for the suggestion!
