hey, yeah i think you've read my blog before. remember a while ago you sent my friend a glucometer in england?!
anyways, i'm only wanting the syringes for when i correct a big high or something. i manged to order some in the end from a british site.
if i do correct with a syringe then i unhook my pump and dial up how much i took with a syringe and let th insulin go on to the floor or in a tissue etc... then the pump knows how much insulin is on board.
Bernard, I was not sure if you wanted to play but I went ahead and made some questions for you. I do not have your email addy so I will post them here. I hope that is ok. 1. Why did you start your blog and how has it affected your life? 2. What sparked your interest in computers and technology? 3. Do you have a favorite childhood memory and if so would you share it with us? 4. In your mind what makes a hero? 5. Name your favorite superhero and/or cartoon character.
The Diabetes Technology Blog is focused on using technology to life better with diabetes. I review: blood glucose monitors; continuous glucose monitor; blood sugar meters; diabetes software and living with diabetes.
About Me
Name: Bernard Farrell
Location: Massachusetts, United States
I was born in Ireland and now live in the US.
I have had Type 1 diabetes for over 35 years. I struggle with my blood sugar, the same as most people with diabetes.
I wear a Cozmo 1800 insulin pump and a Dexcom SEVEN CGM to track my blood glucose levels. I also take Symlin to help control my post-meal blood sugars.
I'm blessed by God, and every day brings the possibility of a cure.
