Israeli Blood Glucose monitor wins award
I'm really only posting about this because I'd never heard of this company or its product. The company is OrSense and here's where you can learn a little about their current product.
It looks a little first-generation to me.
The Technology Innovation award they won from Frost and Sullivan is
bestowed upon companies that have carried out new research, which has resulted in innovations that have or are expected to bring significant contributions to the industry in terms of adoption, change, and competitive posture. This award recognizes the quality and depth of a company’s research and development program as well as the vision and risk-taking that enabled it to undertake such an endeavor.Has anyone out there heard about this device? It looks like it would be 'interesting'.

Its a little bulky but non-invasive is worth it!
Thanks for the "heads up!"
I wonder how this thing works, since it does not appear to use interstitial fluid glucose as some, like the GlucoWatch did. Also, it might be interesting since it does not appear to require constant replenishment of costly sensors or test strips, so perhaps they have something in their second generation products after all?! It will be interesting to see ...
I haven't heard a thing about this product before. I do not know, it is pretty BIG and my fingers are numb to pricks at this point.
